Add a company here to have it on the list before you need it. Most of the
time you will not: type a name straight into a submission and it comes
here for approval by itself.
A vendor and an end client are separate entries even when they are the
same company — the same firm can be both, and each relationship is its
own row.
A batch is an object with a start date and a trainer. The training agreement is due a set number of days after the batch starts, so the start date is what the ladder's clock runs on.

Pick the bucket they are actually in. Somebody who has been in training for three weeks goes straight into Batch training — you do not have to walk them through the pipeline to get them where they already are.
Issuing a document is your act. The team asks; you decide.
